Description
Since our birth in 2013, we’ve committed ourselves to producing the highest quality beers, and being at the forefront of brewing innovation and efficiency. Early in 2014 we were the very first UK-based craft brewery to can their full core range. Customers expect their beer to be fresh and flavourful and we believe that cans - with their protection from light and superior seal, combined with lower environmental impact - help us to get them the beer in the best possible condition!

In 2018 the brewery and brand was bought by Lion Brewery of Australia, who are owned by Kirin of Japan. Lion's global craft beer subsidiary is named Little World Beverages.

In 2022 Lion breweries have sold Fourpure to Odyssey Inns.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A murky looking amber pour with a loose white head; grainy aroma with a hint of lime; cereal grain taste with little sign of bitterness; but a twist of lime to finish.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a fading beige head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass; aroma of toast and strong coffee; quite milky in the mouth with bitter roasted grains and traces of chocolate and coffee; then a dry finish with a lingering bitterness. A pleasant porter.

Can from Tesco Inverurie. It pours hazy deep red to magenta with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, perfumed pomegranate juice, red berries, raspberry, cherry tunes, jam and gummy candy. The taste is crispy, dry, some rawness, roughness, pithy, zesty, waxy bitter citrus peel, red berry, raspberry, pomegranate, odd bitterness to it, raw booze, soapy floral accents and some floor cleaner with a drying, pithy finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit all over the place. Quite a clashing flavour profile tbh. Found it hard to get through.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from an offie near Gatehouse. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a fading, fizzy white head. Light sweet flavour with pleasant, somewhat dry passion fruit notes, minimal acidity, some ripening lemon, oily lime, white grape. Light bodied with average carbonation. OK balance to finish, more oily citrus, mellow passion fruit. Simple and drinkable.
