Bottled. Opens with a big sssh. Pours a slight hazy golden with an enormous off-white head. Quite spicy aroma, hint of grain, bit citric hops. Moderate bitter taste, bit dryish, grainy, spicy, slight sweet. Like a soft, hopped triple. Loads of carbonation. Fusion style, I wonder if that was the intention of the makers.

Bottle at Kerstbier Festival, Essen, Belgique, 18.12.10 This was my first hoppy beer of the day and it was a soft soapy hoppiness. Pouring light brown, soft carbonation, very interesting, quite pithy at times with grapefruit tingling the tastebuds. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Small yellow head, soon reduced to rim over red-brown beer. Perfumed-malty nose, brown candisugar, or rather, cassonade. Again very perfumed in the mouth, sugarsolution, missing complexity or depth, but with a faint spicy finish, and a bit roasted. Feels more carbonated than it looks (rather dead, but that might be the glass). Sweet, light and, sorry, unimportant.
