Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy amber beer. Massive frothy off white head, where is the beer? Annoyingly had to wait half hour for this to settle down! A decent caramel malt base supporting orange - tangerine and grapefruit hops. Finishes semi dry. Okay taste but a definite fail on the palate.

Cask at In de Wildeman. Hazy dark amber colour, soapy white head. Aroma of fruits, strawberries, citrus, lots of fresh hops, light malty. Flavour is light sweet, grassy, hoppy, fruity, citrus, toasted malts, firm zesty citrussy hop bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, soft to no carbonation. Very well made and tasty imo.

bottle, mit Dank an Bierkoning. Brown colour, large off-white head. Sourish-fruity flavours dominate over a caramalty body, shy hints of caramel, toffee and chocolate.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty, light medicine - plaster. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110124]
