Brouwerij Eembier is op 18 mei 2006 opgericht. Sinds 2006 brouwt Eembier al haar bieren volgens het Reinheitsgebot. Krachtige hoppige bieren zónder toevoegingen zoals kruiden. Onze Eembieren krijgen alle tijd om rustig te rijpen in de lagertanks. En dat proef je terug in onze smaakvolle bieren!

Sinds mei 2018 heeft brouwerij Eembier haar eigen brouwlocatie,
gelegen naast de haven in het pittoreske vestingstadje Elburg. In 2023 trekt Stadsbrouwerij Vos in het pand, en is Eembier weer een brouwerijhuurder, bij Huttenkloas.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Sweet flavour with fruity and malty notes. Sweet flavour with malt, fruits and yeasty notes. Sweet and fruity finish.

Cloudy amber with a large beige head. Malty aroma with hoppy and fruity notes. Hoppy flavour with floral, malty and caramel notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan Tasting, April 2010. Pours unclear dark amber with a red hew and a creamy white head on top. Yeast, dark fruit and caramel with a bit of alcohol. Medium bodied. Ok

Tap at de Wildeman in Amsterdam. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Fruity aroma. Tastes fruity with a bit of yeast. There’s a nice bitter to it that goes into the finish. Very nice.

On tap at PINT Meibockfestival. Hazy golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of light bready malts and fruity, citrussy hops, light grassy. Flavour is sweet, malty, a bit bready, fruity, good bitter finish. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Bottle:Deep amber coloured, hazy, slowly collapsing mid-sized tanned head; toasty and caramelly nose, a tinge of vanilla detectable, aromatic hops underneath; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; drier hoppy - a bit harsh - finish with traces of dark malt and smoke(?). Solid brew, could be better balanced.....

Bottle, 7.0%. Mild farty aroma. Hazy dark red/brown colour, lots of floating bits. The flavour is nice and malty with some good, sweet fruit notes. Grassy hop flavour giving it a good extra dimension.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading white head and a clear golden body. Aroma of apple and light grain. Taste is grainy with some light fruit hints. Medium carbonation. Bland!

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading tan head over a hazy brown body. Aroma is fruity, alcohol, dark fruits. Taste is chocolate, dark fruits and paper. Light bubbles.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and straw. Thanks yespr for sharing.
