Keg at Ushers. It pours darkest brown / black with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy roasted malts, charred wood, big liquorice character, coffee and riesen chocolate chew. The taste is rich roast, toast, coffee grounds, liquorice, cacao nibs and a touch of ash with a dry, roasted finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty session stout.

Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of cucumber, straw and tonic water. Flavour of white sugar, cucumber and grass. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Possibly a touch on the sweet side, but it’s very nice. I think I’ve enjoyed every beer brewed cucumber I’ve tried.

Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Hazy ruby body with a thin beige head that fades quickly. Patchy lacing. Aroma of caramel, wood and earth. Flavour of toffee and strawberry syrup with more of a boozy finish than expected for the ABV. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Quite harsh and unpolished. Not bad though.
