Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Clear golden body with a persistent white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, furniture polish and pineapple. Flavour of plastic, pithy lime and and waxy lemon peel. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. The finish lets this beer down - it’s sharp and astringent, verging on sour.

Keg from Andrew Usher’s. Cloudy pale golden body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain, bay leaves, wheat and white pepper. Flavour of herbs, tart lemon and tonic water. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. I didn’t pick up any coconut in this...

Cask at Andrew Ushers , Edinburgh Sunday 20th March 2016 in the company of Dad and Barry. Pours warm orangey gold murky with a white bubbly head. Aroma far too subtle, hoppy but seems more dusty hops in the mouth, not bad but you feel it’s lacking a little something. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0
