Description
Welcome North Union Brewing Co, founded with the sole aim to produce high quality craft beer for good people to enjoy and savour.

Cuckoo brewery who set up in 2016 brewing at Harthill Village Brewery. In 2017 they were in the process of moving to the above address where a brewery was planned, but the operation ceased and uncertainty exists as to if any beer was brewed in Sheffield.

Tried in a bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. Deep cola colour with a thin tan head. Toffee and light fruit aroma with some chocolate. Slightly light body and really nice.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Amber in colour with a small head. Crisp with a good fruitiness to it.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Black with a very thin head. Chocolate is more than evident and it is very rich tasting.

Draught @ Junkyard, 12 Bridlesmith Walk, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 2FZ. [ As North Union Oatmeal Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, oat, dark malt, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, oat, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20161011] 7-4-7-3-14

Keg at Hop Gate Derby; dark black pour with a thin light tan head, aroma has rich chocolate, taste has sweet chocolate, some dark fruits, quite full bodied.

Slightly hazy golden beer, decent white head. Aroma and taste are both dry, grassy. grapefruity. Lingering dry finish. Quite nice.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A deep golden amber pour with a loose cream head; caramel malt aroma with some strawberry fruit; soft fruity caramel taste; and a pleasant fresh grassy bitterness. A pleasant amber lager.

Keg at the Ubrew tap room. A dark ruby red brown coloured pour with a a lasting sticky light tan head . Aroma is toasted malts, tangy citrus peel, orange. Brown bread. Flavour is composed of tangy lemon, orange peel. Palate is semi sweet and tangy, moderate carbonation. Nit bad.

North Union Session Red 4%. Keg at UBrew. It pours darkest red - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, cherry cola, raspberry jam, caramel, toffee and berry. The taste is smooth, dry, bitter - sweet, cherry action, cherry cola, red grape, cranberry, earthy, wood and leather with a linger dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent fruity ale. Loads of cherry.
