Mega Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and softish. Minerally fine carbonation. Somewhat.lagerish malt. Light floralness. Whisper of hop. Light semi dry finish. Just another saison but inoffensive.

Bottle thanks to L-Dogg at the super-mega tasting. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is wood, hay, straw, mustiness and citrus peel. The taste is lightly tart, doughy, earth, straw, vanilla, crisp citrus, apricot, peach and just a touch of spice. Medium body and fine carbonation. A fairly straightforward farmhouse affair. Alright.

Bottle at the get of the floor and man the fuck up Josh tasting, thanks to LKS, 03/01/14. Hazed orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangy citric fruit, orange pith, grass, light bread dough, yeast notes. Taste comprises orange pith, lemon sherbet, straw, earthy, light spice, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bittering in a grassy closure. So so saison.

Bottle shared for Jack in London. I got this rare bottle from Provisions in Northampton. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some dough and lemon meringue with hints of other citrus. Medium sweet flavor with lots of doughy malts and further citrusy meringue, some straw. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Sweet finish with more doughy malts, hints of dry berries, hay, creamy meringue. Not bad. Bit simple but very drinkable.

Bottle shared at the 8th Richmond Industry Gathering, 12/1/13. Pours a viscous dark rust color, no head. Aroma of big boozy cognac, raisin and toffee. The taste is toffee, big whiskey notes, apples, peppery notes. Medium bodied, very hot. Interesting, but needs aging.

Bottle @ home shared with myself sent from booston from Lushawn917. Thanks! 375 mL bottle. Pours a milky dull golden yellow appearance with a big foamy, cream colored head. Lemon, spicy yeasty, light pepper, mild barnyard, dry pils malty, bready aroma. Just a bit tart with a fair amount grassy/herbal hops in the flavor along with slightly spicy yeasty, light grain, a bit juicy flavor. Delightfully dry with pretty potent hops. Very reminiscent of old world Saisons. Thank you Dr. Shitheaddddddd!!!

50cl bottle I picked up at Julio’s. Pours a clear orange with some lacing, soapy white head. Nose is mild, lightly fruity, green apple, some green pear, lemon, some white grape, a little orange candy. Flavor has more malt elements, a distinct cracker, lemon, light honey, a hint of pine, grassy, a little white pepper. Dry, zesty finish. The nose and the flavor aren’t totally in sync, but both are very nice.

Sampeld at Kyle’s tasting. A fair amount of hops. I do not detect any blueberry, and it is my understanding there are not berries in this beer. Earthy yeast. decent.
