Crystal clear, auburn-chestnut with mahogany hues. Off-white head atop is medium-sized, fluffy and well-retained.
Nose is full of English yeast lending raisin, plum, cherry, apple and hints of pepper and clove. No actual spice? Not sure, but if so it's very nicely integrated. Bready malts don't go too far on the specialty malt character and it seems very well-attenuated and yet neither alcoholic or husky.
In the mouth it's soft, with some hard bread-like notes, but mostly enough base malt to keep the texture comforting. Quite dry with caramel, brown bread, raisin, plum, apple and light clove. Fruitiness lingers. Perfect carbonation and really nice attenuation and balance here. No sign of the alcohol.

Moderately hazy, bright lemon yellow with some brass and gold hues. White head atop is large and well-retained.
Nose is a mix of fairly strong citrus and pine, I wouldn't quite call it resinous and it's not like over-boiled hop, just very Azacca-forward which means strong grapefruit and lemon. But there's good malt here with biscuit and clean, white bread to soak up a lot of the acidity and it shows no heavy yeast; no bubble gum or alcohol. Tangerine, light mango and lime zest join in on the finish. Certainly a well-made beer, just not my favorite hops.
In the mouth it's pretty similar to the nose. Aggressive pine and citrus stopping just short of being resinous and fatiguing. Dry but with a very supple, well-attenuated malt character showing prominent biscuit-white bread and low honey. Tight carbonation and some pleasant fruitiness with marmalade, black tea and tangerine growing very lightly juicy as it warms. Still, the heavy pine/grapefruit aspect is a bit off-putting to me, but that's also because I really don't like West Coast IPAs, which this leans heavily towards (though certainly not fully). Personally, this would rate much lower than what I'm scoring it, but I have to respect how well-made it is.

Fully cloudy, light bronze-brass. White head slowly fades to cover.
Red Laserbeams? More like Red Onions! Amirite?! But yeah, this is overbearingly full of onion/scallion. Heavy British yeast provides typical NE IPA character and it's full of biscuit and light honey. Otherwise lemon, mango, grapefruit and lime show past the onion somewhat. Too bad, because it's not resinous or boozy.
Onions galore in flavor but well made with soft, thick, creamy-like textures and good attenuation. Nectarine, mango, lime and pineapple with light bitterness and no alcohol or flaw. I can tolerate some onion/scallion for sure, but this is intense.

[ As Mystic The Hum ].Unclear - hazy dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, bread, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160811] 8-2-7-3-15
