Bottle at volo, 2009 vintage.
Hazy caramel pour with an ample beige head. Aroma of thick caramel malts, and soapy, piney hops. Viscous mouthfeel, light carb, dry bitter finish. More caramel malts dominate, with some sweeter hops in the finish. The alcohol is well hidde. A nice sipper.

473ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, peanut and chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, peanut and coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average to soft carbonation. A bit watery for the style, but still pretty decent.

Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel and grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward and crushable.

Sweet fruity flavour matches aroma with bready wheat malt, peach, light smoke and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. The smoke was subtle, making this a refreshing and crushable brew.
