Bottle 500ml. @ [ Edinburgh Danish Invasion Tasting) by cgarvieuk - Edinburgh ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, tart citrus, peach, light yeasty, apple vinegar notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, limon, sour yeast. IMO off .. but works semi okay. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. bottle at The Danish Invasion tasting ... golden amber ... thin white head ... soft lemon zezt nose.. sweet juicy fruits ... oily lemon ... light almost tart sourness ... apricot peach and lemon .. i quite like this... coul dbe infected .. but if it is its in a nice way

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear pissy gold colour with a reserved white head. Grassy hop and gooseberry aroma. Quite lively carbonation. Flavour had some juicy citrus notes in tandem with some decent mouth coating hop bitterness that stuck around well into the finish. All considered a decent beer, much better than anticipated.

bottle from Budleigh Wines. The aroma is quite sour at first, then turns into a lovely banana nose. Flavour: mango and banana on a wheaty base, slightly yeasty with some spices, reminds me of a witbier. The sourness in the background is a bit irritating at first, but one gets used to it.

Bottle at home... as Dawlish Porter 4.6% ... deep copper brown ... thin tan head ... soft sweet chocolate fig nose ... over fizzy ... soft sweet toffee ... little oxidation ... little medicianal in linger ... just not balanced....

500ml bottle. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma is vinegar. Taste is the same, vinegar throughout. Palate, it’s like drinking water. This is the second bottled Gargoyle beer that has been shit. Problems at the brewery/bottling line, I think.

bottle as Budleigh Pale Ale from Budleigh Wines, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, UK. Hazy golden colour, large white head, very persistent. Malty base, pleasantly fruity touch with a good, bitter-hoppy finish.

bottle as Budleigh Golden. Slightly hazy golden colour, large and rocky white head. Light and refreshing with a nice zesty, citrusy touch. Good thirst quencher for the summer.

500ml bottle. Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma is roasted malt and some coffee. Roasted malt and some coffee in the finish. Watery and flat, no life in this whatsoever. A bit sickly.
