11:00, 28th March 2015: 1st pint of the day, Wetherspoons in Victoria Station (London). Slight disappointed to be honest: I usually like Bath Ales brews, this one was a bit insipid. Light amber body with an off-white head. The nose leaned towards light malts with a slight fruity twist: taste similar but nothing strong or powerful, just an uninteresting blend to me. It was neither bitter or sweet, a middle of the road forgettable beer.

Cask @ Crown and Anchor. Clear and golden, with a thin white head. Excellent lacing. Crisp citrus aroma, taste is also citrus with some malt. Not exviting, but would be a great summer beer garden beer

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - elusive. Light cake and dried fruit. Taste - tangy orange and pith too. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall - solid.
