The Travlr tasting at ChrisO’s. Thanks to Gene for all the beers and Chris for hosting. Clear amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light tangy chocolate malts, toffee as well, bitterish toffee. Light finish. Okay.

Bottle split at Travlr tasting @ Chriso, 30/09/15. Clear golden topped with an egg shell white swirl. Nose is pale malt, bready notes, light citric tones, hint of spice. Taste comprises bready notes, pale shmale fail, yawn, grassy, papery, tedium. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close ... why?

Bottle split at Travlr tasting @ Chriso, 30/09/15. Clear golden topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is pale malt, grassy, faint citric essence, rather thin. Taste comprises light malt, citric peel, straw, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Boring meets muted.

Bottle shared in London a chriso’s. This beer is drank in tribute to Gene on his visit. Pours clear gold with a slight white cream head. The nose some mellow buttered grains, faint smoke, hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with some smokey grains, citrus rind, minerals, straw. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light sweetness, smoke and stones, grains. Meh.

Bottle split at LKS Towers, thanks to Imdownthepub, 05/05/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is toffee, spice, biscuit, malt. Taste comprises dark malt, black pepper, spice, toffee, biscuit, dark fruit notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok schwarz, fairly simple affair but ticks the style boxes.
