Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln Bristol 3/10/2023. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Leafy hops, some hedgerow fruits, rip malts, caramel and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at Small Bar, Bristol, 07/10/23. Reddish amber with a good sized lasting beige cap. Nose is biscuit, straw, herb, dull fruit esters, brown bread. Taste comprises biscuit malt, caramel, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Okay bitter.

Cask handpull at Bag O Nails Bristol. Clear dark brown colour thin head. Malty best bitter flavour. Nutty. OK condition and temperature just. A little flat. Good malty nutty flavour though. Easy drinking. Decent.

Half cask at the Bag o'Nails. Dark brown pour, silky beige head. Light roasty malts in the aroma. Taste is burnt toast, nutty, sweet.

Cask-conditioned at the Llandoger Trow, Bristol 15/12/2022. Dark brown in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. A smooth mild with some berry and brown sugar sweetness, a touch of toasty malt and gentle finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers Arms, Bristol 1/12/2022. Deep brown in colour with reddish undertones and a slight, off-white, head. A malty winter warmer, with plenty of caramel, red berries, ripe and nutty malts, leafy hops leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.
