Description
As San Diego's first and only Brewery/Winery/Restaurant, we pride ourselves on putting everything we have into the things we do and push the boundaries of creative products to share with our guests.
Our beers are focused on drinkability, merging inspirational flavors from our restaurant and winery to create one of a kind products.
Our tasting room is attached to our restaurant, The Cork and Craft. We're open every day except for Monday, including lunch during the work week, and brunch on Sundays. We not only offer our own beers on tap, but many other guest beers from around the world that we share our 40 taps with. We feature flights of our own beers which can be enjoyed in the bar, restaurant or on our heated outdoor patio.
Come in for the beer, stay for the food, and discover your Abnormal side.

On tap at Abnormal, pours an opaque bright reddish pink, tiny head. Nose brings out the raspberries and banana upfront, accentuated by vanilla and a touch of lactose. Flavour is juicy as hell, with loads of raspberry, balanced by subdued banana, and a touch of vanilla and lactose. The alcohol is not felt at all. Nice blend of fruit and adjuncts. Good stuff.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a murky, dark rusted red with a tiny beige head. Aroma is more rounded that the regular BA version, with gentle, sweet cherries, vanilla, and lots of wood. Flavour is big, with intense wood, accentuated by cherries and vanilla, and finishing again with the woody bourbon. The cherries and vanilla add another layer of complexity to this that the base version didn't have. Excellent.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a murky, dark rusted red with a tiny beige head. Aroma is extremely intense on the Wild Turkey bourbon, with lots of smoked whiskey, lots of wood, and dry caramel. Flavour is likewise intense, with intense wood from the bourbon, lots of smokiness, lots of dry caramel, and dry crusty bready. A bourbon bomb—the wood dries out the residual sweetness a fair bit. Good but not as complex as I'd hoped for.

Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium bone white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

355ml can. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, fluffy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy, piney and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy, as well as slightly biscuity, pale malty aroma, notes of orange, melon, a touch of grapefruit and passion fruit. Taste is dry, fruity, slightly citrusy, minimally piney hoppy, pale malty basis without residual sweetness, hints of orange and grapefruit, some melon, a diluted touch of passion fruit, lemon zest; lingering, dry, minimally papery finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Crisp, refreshing - OK.
