As San Diego's first and only Brewery/Winery/Restaurant, we pride ourselves on putting everything we have into the things we do and push the boundaries of creative products to share with our guests.
Our beers are focused on drinkability, merging inspirational flavors from our restaurant and winery to create one of a kind products.
Our tasting room is attached to our restaurant, The Cork and Craft. We're open every day except for Monday, including lunch during the work week, and brunch on Sundays. We not only offer our own beers on tap, but many other guest beers from around the world that we share our 40 taps with. We feature flights of our own beers which can be enjoyed in the bar, restaurant or on our heated outdoor patio.
Come in for the beer, stay for the food, and discover your Abnormal side.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Black with minimal light beige head. Maple and JD barrel with light coffee. The JD takes away from this. Thin for a 14.3%. Fine, but a bit disappointed overall.

375ml (thx, Matt!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a brown head. Aroma: maple, chocolate, bourbon. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry, lots of maple syrup, some chocolate. A bit thin aftertaste. Overall: pretty good.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is pretty intense on the maple syrup upfront, followed by coffee, and subtle barrels — the JD is thankfully not too noticeable. Flavour does express the JD barrels in a spicy sense, followed by intense maple syrup that ends up dominating. There's coffee and vanilla further back. The maple syrup is still the dominant character here. The barrels layer over a slight spiciness—there's definitely not a deep complexity added by the JD; rather it just sort of tempers the maple syrup character. I prefer the base beer, but this is still delicious.

On tap at Abnormal, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is a bit of a confusing melange of notes—with bourbon, light coconut and coffee. Flavour is more dialled in, with lots of bourbon, followed by coffee, cocoa and a touch of subdued coconut. Wonderfully rounded, with a pretty impeccably complex flavour profile. Sublime.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear bright red with a small pink head. Nose is full of tart cherries, cut down by lime, and a little lacto. Flavour is bright and fruity, with lots of lime and tart cherries, with a yogurty backbone and moderate sweetness. Bright and fruity. Good stuff.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out oily resinous hops, a little pine, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is piney, with lots of assertive piney hops, light resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Biting and piney finish with good balance. Excellent.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, plenty of oily hop resins, and some sticky caramel malt. Flavour is impeccably balanced, with lots of resinous and piney hops, balanced by just enough sweetened malt. Expert balance, with wonderful robustness from the hops without being harsh at all. Excellent.

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small brown head. Nose is very spicy, with lots of candy cane powdery spice, plus a little cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is intensely sweet, with lots of candy cane spicy sweetness, a little cocoa and vanilla. This is like a liquid candy cane in stout form. It's alright but not something I want to drink.

On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small ring of brown head. Nose is decadent as hell, with loads of liquid maple syrup, followed by light pecans. Flavour is loaded with maple syrup upfront, followed by toasted pecans and a touch of vanilla. Not getting the cinnamon, which is fine with me. Yummy stuff.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of anise and clove, along with glue and woody barrel notes. Flavour is unpleasant, with lots of clove and spices, wood and glue. Too spicy and harsh, not integrated well, and with too much glue. Not good.
