Odense Summer Gathering 2022 after Jonas Vingegaard victory on Hautacam. Dark brown with tiny off-white head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, cold coffee and green pepper. Sweetish, cold coffee flavour along with liquorice and a touch of mint. A bit thin character.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, green olives. Taste is full, herbaceous, by far the odd one out in the set. Aged milkchocolate, simple, not as barrel expressed as the others. Mild bitterness. Fairly sweet. The most unique for sure !

Pours a black, with a small ring of tanned head. Scent is less sharp / more smooth, than Nr1 . Taste is full, bourbon forward, but less boozy than 1 . Bit better balance. Roasty finish. mild soy. My favorite of the set.

Pours black, small ring of tanned head. Scent is full, soy, oak, bourbon, smooth. Fairly syrupy. Taste is full, barrel forward, much barrel heath. lovely bourbon, roasty, sweet chocolate base.

On tap at Abnormal, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich brandy barrels, followed by gentle coconut and vanilla. Flavour is rich and complex, with an interesting mix of brandy barrels upfront, followed by vanilla and light coconut. Rich, luxurious, and complex. Wonderful barrel treatment of this lovely beer.

On tap at Abnormal, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of cinnamon upfront, followed by cocoa, lactose and vanilla, and a hint of bourbon barrels. Flavour is full of cinnamon and chocolate upfront, followed by lactose and bourbon barrels. What initially seems like dessert later seems like a really well-rounded BA pastry stout. Tasty.
