Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden yellow, fairly thin head and carbonation doesn't seem particularly ferocious. Nose - honey and bread. Taste - again, honey dominant. Cake. Palate - creamy, tangy and medium bodied. A bit cloying to be honest. Overall - a bit too sweet.

Cask at Hops, Crewe Pours a golden yellow with a frothy white head. Has a faint aroma of oranges, but nothing much. Taste is mainly of corn, plus bran flakes and a bit of citrus. Finish starts off as sweet, but then becomes bitter. Unremarkable.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with an attractive snow white head. Nose - corn and subtle, dry herbs. Taste - dry green note, like tomato vine. Corn again. Palate - light bodied and dry through middle and finish. Overall - ok. Could be a bit more generous even for this style.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: klar mørkerød kobber med fint skum som varer helt ned. En slank, smaksrik og lettdrikkelig bitter med toner av barskog, urter, litt karamell og mørke bær. Soft and charming.
