7/2/2020. Cask at the Duke, Ipswich. As Harwich Town Ganges. Pours pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, hops, slight berries, grass, biscuit and touch of sulphur. Moderate to medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Slightly sticky texture, soft carbonation. Bit more biscuit develops. Sweeter finish develops. It’s ok.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and has decent fine carbonation. Very tangy dark malts with a touch of soft dark malt cream. Good tangy dark fruits, flirting with sour here. Trace of dark chocolate.Very tangy finish. I normally dislike tangy stout but this one is so unapologetically tangy it has won me round to a degree.

Sun Inn beer festival, Kelvedon. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry and smooth, modest carbonation. Soft and sweetish malts. Reasonable hop fruits, kinda generic. Mild spicy bitterness before a dry finish. Some condition would have elevated this.
