27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits, malt, toffee, brown sugar, boozy notes. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Quite drinkable.

29/7/2022. Cask at The Harwich Redoubt Beer Festival 2022. Pours clear pale golden with a bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tart edge. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark brown with a reddish edge, head is beige. Aroma is dark dried fruits, veggie, malts. Taste is bitter, dark fruits, toffee, malts.

18/9/2021. Bottle shared with J&K. Bought direct from the brewer. Pours hazy straw gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, malt, grass, touch of herb. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, soft carbonation.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a light coppery orange with a fluffy off white to tan head. Aroma is spicy grainy. Taste is nice light bitter, caramel, toffee, malty.

23/8/2020. Cask at the Duke of York, Ipswich. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, hops, caramel and straw. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Enjoyable.
