26/9/2020. Bottle shared with / courtesy of SHIG. Cheers! Pours clear bright amber with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of malt, buttery toffee, butterscotch, fruit, touch of cardboard. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Looked good and generally improved with a nice bitter finish. But not the days highlight.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - deep amber, edge of brown. Thin and quickly disappearing head. Nose - caramel, light nuts. Taste - more of the same. Palate - medium bodied. creamy and sweet middle and finish. Overall - too sweet for a lager. I know it's dunkel, but it really drinks like a brown ale.

Bottle from Tori Beers. Appearance - golden and flat. Unfortunately, the bottle had lost gas whilst travelling. The rest of the rating gives a bit of tolerance to that. Nose - honey mostly. No carbonation, so sweet notes dominant. Taste - honey and sweet oats. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Lacking bitterness. Overall - so so (leniency).
