Leg at Barbridge, Stourbridge. Pours hazy gold with a small head. Aroma is bready papaya. Taste has papaya and grapefruit with a medium bitter finish.

Keg at CP&K. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is funky, brett, barnyard, hay, mucky, orange sherbet, nectarine, and peach. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, funky brett, hay, leather, straw, spice, over - ripe stone fruits, orange peel, dirt and some alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a bad funky beer at all, although there is’t so much IPA about it despite the description.

330ml Bottle - Hazy dark golden with a foamy head. Hop resins, grapefruit and pine in the aroma. Hoppy and resinous taste with grapefruit, peach and lychees.

Keg at CBC Limehouse, 19/12/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off White covering. Nose is orange pith, sweet malts, grains, straw, Mandarin. Taste comprises tangerine, floral notes, mango, citric kissed straw, light mineral, apricot, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop rinse. Ok IPA if a touch overly sweet and floral.

Keg at CBC Limehouse, 19/12/16. Black with a decent khaki cap. Nose is chocolate, biscuit, earthy, red berry mist, light spice. Taste comprises cocoa powder, earthy, toffee, brown bread, nutty tones, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Some barrel ageing on the aroma. Bit more BA in the mouth. Some chocolate. But quite a lot of bourbon. More bourbon than anything else. So not really for me.

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Hazy gold amber colour with a lasting white head. Big and hoppy but more hedgerow than American PNW hops. I rather liked it. Tastes like the grapefruit you get from East Kent Goldings. I rather liked it.

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Well it’s funky enough. Definitely got that Brett. Some lovely bretty biscuit in the mouth. A little boozy but hides the rest of the abv well. Yes some good yellow citrus fruits too especially on the finish. The bretty aroma almost overwhelms everything else, but there is some toffee from the malt, some good hops. I mean it’s highly entertaining. Tangerine. You won’t die wondering with this one. I mean it’s like a slutty hooker in your Las Vegas hotel room. Big bold and makes you only think about one thing, but also you know you are going to find out something about yourself you didn’t know before the night is out. Fishnet stockings. Scarlet basque. Black high heel shoes. Long hair. Sashays into the room. Probably got a strap on in her bag too. Oh man I’m gonna hurt so bad tomorrow morning. As I say entertaining.
