Description
We use the finest floor malted grains, fresh hops and multiple strains of fresh brewers yeast and microbes. Ingredients are chosen simply for their contribution to the product rather than the effect on bottom line.

Our beer is then handled as carefully as possible with the minimum of processing to create the best beer possible. We constantly strive to improve. Looking to modern peers, ancestors and our own experimentation. Beers that evolve and change over time. Embracing new ingredients, technology and innovation.

Cask at Overdraft, Winchester. Malty chocolat aroma, with added soy sauce. Velvet dark but no head. Creamy and sweet up front, with underlying liquorice and coffee. Sugar lumps chucked in for good measure. Shockingly light bodied. Low fat cream texture. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Enjoyable. For the sweet toothed.

Keg at Eebria. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, semi sweet with some light and not unpleasant grain. Decent piney hop. Bitterish and slightly ripe grapefruit. Mild orange. A fairly dry and pithy finish. Quite drinkable without being anything special.

20th Nov 2017. Shrewsbury Beer Share Group Meeting in Chez Sophie. Cheers Mike for this 330ml bottle: he likes his chili/hot beers does Mike. This one was a lot more subtle in it's hotness compared to some, so this was an easy drinking Porter with just a hint of peppery heat below the smokiness of the brew. Almost liked it!
