Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. clear golden colour lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma no doubt a soft rendition of something like saison dupont. too carbonated but beautifully put together as a saison. not too in your face just nicely flavoursome. good lemon and black pepper. as I say too fizzy but otherwise excellent nothing outstanding just a competent saison .

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Haze amber colour lasting off white head. Now that is pretty good. I have to hold it up to things like The Kernel and Brew By Numbers as an APA to see if it can hang in those exalted spaces. Intense floral grapefruit aroma is certainly good enough. A little toffee from the underlying malt. Soft in mouth. Not much yeast character. It’s all about the malt base and the hops that dance on top. Not very bitter on the finish but pretty good mouthfeel, full and not too fizzy. Yes a solid APA. Not top notch but it does the job nicely. Pink grapefruit and caramel.

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. hazy amber colour lsting off white head. Big vivid citrus hop aroma no doubt. Yes those big west coast PNW hops no doubt, grapefruit and tangerine jump out of the glass. Along with a little dankness on aroma and in the mouth tastes fresh as hell mind. Bottled 8 September 2016 so yes only a few months old. Very good solid pale ale. Some bitterness on the finish. Makes me want to drink more. 2 beers took me 2 hours, this took like 8 minutes to devour. Too fizzy mind. Solid west coast dank pale ale.

Bottle via Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Smooth and sumptuous the barrel ageing adds a creamy boozy indulgent richness. Soft in the mouth and there is a real vanilla edge, woodiness. Some creamy boozy chocolate, this is just lovely, dangerous at 9.8% but lovely. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.1

Bottle from Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Pours gold really hazy in fact Loz’s and Terrys looks murky grey, they taste great but really grubby looking. Fruity, crisp and with a dry back end. Citrus and tropical fruits combining well, like it a lot. A7 A2 T8 P4 Ov18 3.9

Bottle from Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Pours gold with a white head, a little hazy. Fruity with a bit of a pine resin rub, bitterness not so aggressive, sweetness follows. It’s good but not as good as it’s little brother the Pale Ale. Another messy night and 3 am finish. Bottle from Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Pours straw/light gold with a white head, Loz gets banana on the nose, I get more bready and spice but there is a little tropical fruit. Tasty and refreshing Saison, good zippiness a little lemon and a light tangy tart edge. Really nice but another late night 3am.... A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle from Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Hazy amber in colour with a filmy white head, a touch perfumey on the nose. Wow this drinks so much easier than it has any right to. The Brett is a welcome partner here rather than something that overwhelms. Nice softness in the mouth, fruity, warming, a little residual sweetness. Really, really nice. Home at 3am yet another messy night. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
