(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 21 Apr 2015) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief off-white head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, dark bread, a touch of coffee and a balanced roasted bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made porter. Nice one.
