Description
We are seven actual brothers of the McAvoy family from Salford who love beer (we also have four sisters who love gin). It was our Dad who first got us into beer – he used to home brew when we were kids and so for us, there’s a lovely nostalgia in everything about beer. We brew our beer in Salford, where we also have our Tap Room – you can come over and visit any time!

Bottle from Moonshin & Fuggles, Ironbridge. Pale amber with a thick off-white head and a light fizz. Nice light, frothy mouthfeel, very drinkable but maybe a bit thin. Sweet orange ans lemon whiff. On tasting, lemon and grapefruit up front with a touch of pine and white pepper, but the flavours are quite mild and rather hidden behind the moderately bitter finish. It grew on me but then grew off me again. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. OK overall.

Hazy golden pour with a fine white head. The most prominent with this one was that it really tasted watermelon! Quite refreshing and nice, but one is enough. Medium body and a soft carbonation.

Cask at GBBF. From Audio note, a fairly clear gold with a lovely light hop profile that is floral with a bit of ??? too noisy couldn’t hear. The taste was somewhat dank with a semi-dry slightly chalky finish. Overall, a really solid session beer.
