Cask at Hants Oktoberfest 2019. Fruity plummy aroma. Opaque dark brown. Bubbly light beige head. Medium bitter with a tart vinous edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Long astringent finish. Remember really liking this but it's a tad unbalanced bitter wise from cask as opposed to having had it from a bottle.

Bottle from Longstock Farm shop and cafe. Low key funky aroma with evident lime. Pale gold. Thin translucent white head. As per the aroma it's the tart lime sourness that leads the way. A salty undercurrent. Pineapple is overpowered I guess. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. I don't mind this. And as I am not particularly keen on pineapple the fact that it's not something that I'm picking up is essentially a bonus.

Bottle taken away from All Hail Ale at 9.1%. Black with a hint of purplish brown if you can imagine such a thing. Very little head. Molasses sugar, cooking chocolate, a touch of yeast extract. Sweet taste with a heavy savoury yeast kick, like strong Bovril. Sweet and slightly meaty flavours on thw finish.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber/copper. Caramel, pine and some citrussy notes in the aroma. The taste is hoppy and fruity with caramel, blueberries, pine and orange detected. Not one of Red Cat's better beers and I feel this would've worked better as a paler beer.

17/7/2019. Bottle shared at the South West tour bottle share. Bought at Inn At Home, Newbury. Pours red brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, dried fruits, roasted malt, toffee, fruit cake and light berries. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, and a bit above average carbonation (apart from which it was very nice).
