Description
A biochemist by training, Thibaut Delamaïde spent 10 years in national education as a school teacher. Producing his own beer is an idea that has worked for him for a long time. In 2010, he trained at the brewery-school in Douai, then began to brew his beers at home, using equipment that he himself had tinkered with. But amateur brewing is not enough for him. In 2013, he left the national education system and began work in the outbuildings of the farm where he had lived for ten years, in Etaing ... a few hundred meters from the megalithic site of the 7 Bonnettes. Our brewery offers craft beers, brewed with respect for tradition. They are refermented in the bottle and unfiltered, thus keeping all their character. From crushing the malt to labeling the bottles, all stages of production are carried out in the Brasserie des 7 Bonnettes, by the brewer himself. The raw materials used (barley malts, hops) come as much as possible from local productions.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Dark dark brown beer with lasting tan head. It's a decent slightly milk chocolate malty beer with some good jammy dark fruit on the finish. I thought the fruit on the finish was pretty attractive.

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy deep golden, small head. Fruity nose with grapes and grass. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dough and butter, fruity with sweet grapes. Low bitterness. Butter lingers.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Ian. Light haze on this gold - amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Ripe fruits and sweet spice in to a light and orangey finish. Okay.
