Description
A biochemist by training, Thibaut Delamaïde spent 10 years in national education as a school teacher. Producing his own beer is an idea that has worked for him for a long time. In 2010, he trained at the brewery-school in Douai, then began to brew his beers at home, using equipment that he himself had tinkered with. But amateur brewing is not enough for him. In 2013, he left the national education system and began work in the outbuildings of the farm where he had lived for ten years, in Etaing ... a few hundred meters from the megalithic site of the 7 Bonnettes. Our brewery offers craft beers, brewed with respect for tradition. They are refermented in the bottle and unfiltered, thus keeping all their character. From crushing the malt to labeling the bottles, all stages of production are carried out in the Brasserie des 7 Bonnettes, by the brewer himself. The raw materials used (barley malts, hops) come as much as possible from local productions.

75cl bottle pour @ Bier Feest, Douvrin. Pours a misty gold, white head. Gentle peach aroma, creamy yeast. Not too much peach coming through to taste but what is there compliments the triple sweetness well. Moderate carbonation. Ok.

330ml bottle from Chope'n Shop, Hazebrouck. Pours clear gold, white froth. Aroma has lemon-tinged grapefruit on the nose. Taste is a touch dry and bitter with a soft grapefruit presence and a floral bitterness, well carbonated. Fine.
