Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light banana. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich banana, caramel, light floral cough sweet, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Just Beer Newark. Pale golden colour. Aroma and taste are dominated by sweet strawberry. Light body.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. dark reddy-brown with a thick creamy slightly off-white head. Its plum is stated in both aroma and taste, within an easy enough texture to sup. The fruit also lingers long in its aftertaste.

Cask at the tiny tavern. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty chocolate and slight cherry. Bitter to slight sweet cherry. Medium body.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Very dark brown, almost opaque with a slightly loose off-white head. The top aroma seems to be mint, oddly, although there's a fair dollop of chocolate on the nose as well. Sweet taste, more mint and perhaps a bit a marshmallow, with a light balancing herbal bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Oily body with minimal carbonation. A bit weird but not too bad.
