12 ounce bottle courtesy of Travlr and shared at the WWGT2D2U? tasting, 5/29/14. Pours a dark brown color with a thin fizzy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of coconut, milk chocolate, roast, faint hints of mint and salt. The taste is roast, chocolate, coconut, mild herbal note. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, low carbonation.

Draft at Doherty’s. Clear deep golden amber color, thick off white head with solid lacing. Aroma of balanced spice and gourd. Taste is slightly more nutmeg, cinnamon than gourd. Good.

Caramel, walnut, honey aroma. Mahogany, headless. Flavor is rather like nut liqueur. Walnut prominent. Full body, alcohol a bit noticeable.

Oatmeal with chocolate cherry cordial accents. Cola brown, thin tan head. Coconut and chocolate, nougat at midpalate, wood on the edges. Chewy mouthfeel. Really nice complexity and nuance.
