Bottle, hotel tasting Warwick, with BeerandBlues2. Very slightly hazy golden amber color, tan head. Nice aroma of spiced, toasted rye bread. Taste is spiced brown bread and vanilla. Very tasty.

Draft at Dohertys. Opaque dark brown color, thick beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of plums, prunes, coffee. Taste has tawny port, dark sweet fruit, espresso. Very tasty.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of Travlr and shared at theWWGT2D2U? tasting, 5/29/14. Pours a very dark brown color with a thin tan head. Poor head retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, oats, mild wood and herbal hops. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, oats, nuts, bitter herbal hops. Medium bodied.
