Cask at the brewpub, 12/04/18. Murky looking off black with a collapsing tan head. Nose is lIght cocoa powder, dried fruits, light coconut flakes, mellow roast. Taste comprises light chocolate, toffee, faint ashen notes, baking powder, light charr. Light in body, moderate carbonation and on the thin side, semi drying close. Not entirely unpleasant but lacks any real flavour and at £2.45 a half for a 3.8% beer brewed on theach premises it's a poor show overall.

Taste comprises brown bread, light cocoa sprinkle, tarte dark fruit rinds, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Not great ... I would have taken this off if I’d been manning the bar.
