We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Cask at the Euston tap. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is diacetyl, caramel, apple, funky butterscotch. Flavour is composed of semi s et malts, toffee, brown sugars, tangy brown bready, tangy apple. Meh. Palate is semi sweet, slightly creamy, moderate carbonation. Meh. Pretty bad.

A bit too earthy for me. Needs tweaking. Just a sample on Sunday. Peppery finish too.

Consumed at Dalston Beer Day but my check-in didn't go through for some reason.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 14th May 2017. Gold with lasting off-white lacing foam. Rich and intense hop aroma. Splendid fruitiness and citrus hops in-mouth. A savoury touch. Light to medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Absolutely exquisite!

Black color with a beige head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. A bit to sweet. Roast, toffee, fruity and bready flavor. A bit to sweet, otherwise ok.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours hazy orange-gold with a dense, lasting cream topping. Retrained aroma, some tangerine, melon, bubblegum, light floral notes. Medium sweet flavour with nips of gummy fruit candies, some wheat bread, more tangerine, pineapple, light bitter hay. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, some floral hops, more tangerine and melon, a little bitter orange rind, biscuits. Fun stuff. Quite enjoyable.
