(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Bierkönig. Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Very spicy nose with both cardamom and cinnamon. Light in body, very sweet - even sugary - with notes of pine sap and pine needles and then again lots of spices. No bitterness. Very unusual. 270707

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of spruce and herbs. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of honey, herbs, and spruce. The sweetness seems a bit artificial.

Bottled at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Golden colour, small head. Buttery nose. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. There’s some grassy hops and not a trace of the infection that has ruined all this brewer’s beers for the past billion years or so. Finishes with low bitterness. Finally a good beer from Ysta!

Draught at the brewery; 2,8% ABV
Hazy blond color, lighter than the stronger version. Some malt aroma. Very light, watery body, quite dry, where some freshness struggles to come out. Ends quite bitter. Drinkable, amongst the unfamous Swedish light lagers.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy dark amber color; poor head. The aroma is malty with some light sourness. Light body, some nice roasted malt, dry finish, spoiled by a light infection or bad aging.

50 cl bottle from Swedish Systembolaget, bought in Skåne. Hazy orange color, white to a bit yellow head. Head is thick and nice, but not very lasting. Very clear acid sour scent, almost a bit lambic smell. If this had been a blind testing I’d say this was a medium lambic or geueze. Acid sour taste, not as dominating as the scent was. A bit thin mouthfeel. Some metallic taste as well. Is it really a serious infection here, or is it a fairly nice Swedish try to make a lambic beer? Probably an infection, but still, not too bad of you like lambic as I do... Rating is of my liking to it, not as a "premium lager", then it would get 0.5 total...5/3/4/2/7=2.1RerateDraught at SB&WF 2011, first weekendCloudy orange color, white head. Slight bit acidic scent, also a bit malty. Malty, sweet, acidic taste. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.Saw this on draught and thought "yay, I get to try it fresh and not infected from bottle, but alas, infected here as well...4/3/4/3/8=2.2

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Fruity, tart aroma. Medium-bodied, very fresh and tart with some fruit. Lightly bitter finish. This is what I always considered a typical Ysta "Färsköl", but I can understand from Pers rating, that it’s actually an infection?? 200606
