Bottled. The first new beer from a new constelation of brewpub/microbrewery that recently went out of business. If this is what their beer is going to be like in the future there is not much hope I'm afraid.
Deep golden with infected sour aroma. Malty and lighlty bitter with dominating infected flavours. A far too common thing for all beers from this brewer the past few years.

There's quite some flavours fighting for attention in this one: juniper, liquorice, tar , plum-stone bitterness.......

The quality of the beer from this brewpub has gone from excellent to awful, and now it's going back up again. Yellow coloured, slightly hazy. Some of that acidity that completely destroyed the flavour of the beers the last few times I tried the beers is still there. The rich, soft maltiness is still there. The bitterness is still low. I'm glad this beer is enjoyable again.
