Today, we’ve outgrown our roots as nomadic brewers, and operate out of two production sites. The first, a brewery we built in St Werburghs, Bristol, is where we focus on our core range of beers, constantly refining the recipes to bring you an ever evolving, perfect pour. New challenges continually arise and are met by our talented team of resourceful brewers, as we continue producing top notch beers whilst adhering to strict social distancing measures. Usually host to our tap room, we’re already looking forward to re-opening the York Street brewery to our friends, family and local community for fresh beers once we all come out the other side. At our second Bristol site, the Barrel Store, work continues on our complex, mixed fermentation and wild yeasted beers. Here, we serve as custodians over our barrel-aged brews as they develop on different kinds of wood.
Ever evolving in the quest for refinement, all of our recipes stem from the desire to create something beautiful and delicious.

Hazy, pinkish amber with a decent white head. Aroma is funky with tart berries. Flsvour follows suit. A little sharp cranberry, some zesty citrus, a little hop, some funkiness. Light, crisp, sharp and refreshing.

Thin creamy tan head on a dark mahogany coloured body. Malt, nutty, roasted & coffee aroma. Full bodied, smooth & creamy with a sticky back. Berries, malt, coffee, toffee & zesty tastes with a sweet fruity finish. Excellent.

Black beer, tan head. Dry coffee aroma. Flavour has loads of toasty, earthy malt with rich, dry coffee, a little chocolate and some anise with a little sweet booziness coming through. Sweet, rich and with lasting boozy warmth. Very nice.

[44cl can from Beer52’s Collaborations box.] A pale straw pour with a loose white head; cereal grain aroma; usual grainy body and grassy taste to start, then some lively hops kick in with a sharp lemon and lime bitterness; leaving a pleasant bitter finish but a rather soapy mouthfeel. Interesting!

On tap at Nelson Arms Tonbridge. Hazy pale gold colour thin white head. Vanilla and lemon flavour. Light in malts. But I liked the flavours. A bit like ice cream or sorbet. OK.

Looks like a lager with a good fluffy whit head but it has a really odd aroma a bit herbal but not overly pleasant and this carries through to the taste. Dare I say a bit cardboardy

440ml can from HOTM. Gluten Free. Slightly hazed yellow gold colour, big foamy white head and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, flowery, hops. Taste is sweetish, malt, grain, fruity, floral, citrusy, with tangy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying hoppy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
