Flaske fra Holmens importkoffert, delt med Ovesen på tappekveld: nesten kullsort med beigs skum. Fin røstet maltaroma med kaffe, mørk sjokoladeog våt lær. Tørr, fin stoutsmak med behagelig balansert bitterhet i avslutningen. Middels lengde i ettersmaken.

Cask at the York Tap. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemongrass, lemon peel. Taste is sharp, lemon. Creamy texture, bitter finish. Refreshing.

Cask @ Crown and Kettle, Manchester. Golden with a small head, It’s well-hopped with a full body as well as a slightly dry texture and taste.

Cask @ Soup Kitchen, Manchester. Hazy yellow-blonde with a small head. Quite high in its tropical fruit aroma and taste, subdued a touch by its citrus dominance, but pretty tasty all the same.

Bottle. Nose is tropical fruit, slight playdough, slight honey. Taste is dry, muted tropical fruit, a very lager like mid section leading to an emerging resin in the finish. The lager flavours and sharp carbonation don’t sit right for me, and I’ve not really enjoyed it.
