Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose has a hearty kick of chocolate, light roast, burnt toffee, ripe berries, raisins. Medium to big sweet flavour, with plenty of gooey chocolate, mild ashy bitterness, some burnt marshmallows, oily vanilla. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carboantion; pretty good condition. Sweet on the finish, and a little sticky, with further creamy chocolate, vanilla pods, dates, very mild coffee. Overall, its a really fun beer. Certainly on the sweet end of the spectrum, but the beer is called Kandy so that doesnt surprise me. I couldnt see myself drinking pints of this, but a half is quite enjoyable.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours hazy orange-gold with a fairly tight, creamy white head. Good bit of juicy, citrusy hope in the nose, plenty of orange, undertones of pine, tangerine, nectarine. Light to medium sweet flavour with a vibrant, pulpy orange character, some engaging rawness, peach, dry pale bread, moderate rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very well balanced, rounded conclusion, with more fleshy and juicy citrus, a little piney spice, steadying rindy and lightly piney bitterness, only enough bready sweetness to smooth things out. Superb, I'd say.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clearish yellow with a frothy, pure white head. The nose holds pale grains, lemon rind, a little cat pee, pithy grapefruit. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice pithy citrus character overall, a bit of pale grain, more lemon rind, soft pine needles. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nearly balanced finish, with more rindy and pithy citrus, more lemon and graoefruit, crisp pale bread. Solid effort.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Nice aroma, some plump and juicy citrus fruits, melon, tangerine. Light sweet flavour with supportive bready pale malts, more juicy citrus character, tangerine, peach. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish with light bitter hay, nips of pine, ripe lemon, more tangerine, pale bread. Exceedingly drinkable.

Keg at the mad Squirrel Chesham. A black brown coloured pour with sticky greyish head. Aroma is liquorice, and pine, wood, little campfire, some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown malts, liquorice, blackberry jam, wood pine resin,. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, little creamy,. Mellow roasted malts and pine.

Keg at the Bootlegger, 26/05/17. Golden with a well appointed white head. Nose is citric sherbets, tangerine, straw, light bread. Taste comprises melon, orange peel, light mineral strokes, soft bread, toasted grains, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Ok stuff for the ABV.

Keg at the Euston tap. A light yellow straw coloured pour with sticky fine white head. Aroma is juicy pineapple, Oat, mango, spicy citrus. Juicy tropical fruit notes. Palate is crisp, semi sweet grains. Dry powdered citrus, tangerine and. Mango. Palate is semi sweet, light grains, crisp finish, highish carbonation. Really good session.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Golden with a creamy head. There’s plenty of dry hops, but a fairly full tropical fruitiness that lingers long with mango involved here.
