Bottle split at the CBJ share, thanks to Kenny, 11/01/2024.
Black topped with a khaki head that veers to the edge.
Nose is chocolate, charr, mellow barrel, bretty nip, dark malts.
Taste comprises mellow roast, bretted pangs, ashen bite, charr, spice, chocolate, fruit cake.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost.
Tidy BA affair that balances the brett well.

31/XII/23 - 33cl can from I don’t know anymore, shared @ the Abeels’ place, BB: 11/XII/23, 2018 edition (2023-1223)

Clear deep orange beer, creamy off-white to light beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, caramel, sweet impression, some vanilla, dried fruits, a bit malty, alcohol, a little peated. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty bitter, a bit smoky, malty, slightly sweet, alcohol, phenols, more bitterness, some caramel. Aftertaste: alcohol, caramel touch, bitter, whisky, some ripe banana, more alcohol, a gentle roast of some kind, a hint of chocolate, ok but not nearly as good as the Benny Havens I had in 2016 at Tilquin English Beer Festival.

Bottle at home. Spiel seems to suggest just barrel aging rather than brett added but this has lots of (unintentional?) Funk. Pours deep orange amber, nose is all funk vanilla, marmalade, taste is juicy citrus, funk, oak, cheesy.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep brown to black. Off white head. Nose - dates, wood, booze and soy sauce. Taste - woody, with a sherry edge. Dates and brown sauce. Palate - medium bodied, chewy middle and woody sour finish. Overall - more sour on the nose than the taste.
