Keg at the Moor Vaults London. A pale yellow straw coloured pour with a a fine sticky white head. Aroma is pale grains, midget gems, little spicy citrus hop, green hop. Excellent lacing. Vanilla. Raw cacao. Chocolate bonbons. Sift malts. Really essy-drinking. Coffee crema. Oily notes. Blackcurrants. Great beer.

Appearance is nearly black, with a small beige head which quickly goes. Aroma is treacle, banana, sugary dark fruit, bready malt, caramel. Taste- caramel, toffee malt, burnt dark fruit, raisin, hint of boozy heat, toffee and chocolate, fruitcake, clove and banana undertones. Bitter undertones through and lots in the finish. Good stuff.
