GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Smooth malt base, whisper of caramel toffee. Great juicy hops - orange, orange marmalade, tangerine, hop spice, light floralness. Semi dry finish with more juicy hop. Spicy linger. Very nice.

Strong clove nose, pumpkin and cinnamon underneath. Cloudy orange, thick head with little retention. Pumpkin is dominant, but cloves are also prominent. Light body, alcohol not noticeable. Dry, not overly spiced. While pumpkin ales don’t lend themselves to revisiting, this is quite sessionable.

Cask gravity at the 2014 GBBF. Aroma is lovely big resinous citrus hop, light spicy hop. Golden orange colour with no head. Flavour is pale malts, citrus lemon and orange. Very clean and direct hop character. Nice tropical fruits as well. Lightish palate with touch of resin,. Good stuff.
