Sampled on draft a Hou Thou this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tangy with notes of pine and resin. The flavor was bitter and dry with moderate perfume and lemon. Long dry perfume finish. Medium body. Meh.

12oz bottle. Poured a nice dark, vibrant amber color with a head. Aroma is pine resin, mangoes, bitter hops. Flavor was nice malts, mango, bitter hop notes, pretty balanced and tasty. Alcohol was pretty mild. Enjoyed.

2013 Bottle thanks to Nick. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that leaves sticky lacing. The aroma is oak and grape. Medium mouthfeel with strong grape and belgian yeast. Decent.

On tap at rustica on 04/15/2011. Dark black body with a small creamy tan head. Sweet roast, chocolate, and coffee aroma. Sweet coffee flavor, some roast,chocolate, and caramel.
