Reviewed from notes. Rcvd in trade.
The appearance was a somewhat hazy golden amber/copper color with a two finger white foamy head that must last for a good minute and a half until finally it started dieing and leaving some foamy bubbly lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
The smell was a strong pine/citrus combination of sweet to bitter stickiness in the scent, decent caramel aroma in the background.
The taste was bittersweet all the way through in a spectacular caramel sweet sort of way. Bittersweet pine/citrusy aftertaste leading to a dry finish.
On the palate, it sat a light to medium in body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation is good for an AIPA and for me as there’s a decent acceptable harshness and a good dry bitterness lingering over my mouth and tongue.
Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again if I saw it and this would even be a decent offering with its respected food.

Not so bad for a summer session ale. Pours blonde with ok head and lacing. The hibiscus comes out with some nice floral aromas rather than the sourness the flowers sometimes make for. Water with fizzy carbonation. Finishes lightly sour with some crispness. Bottle at Velvet Lounge.

The appearance was a hazy amber body, one finger white foamy head. Some carbonation is seen rising.
The smell had light caramel/fruity tones coming forth in front of light hops, malts are slightly there.
The taste was sweet yet bitter between previously mentioned flavors, fruity aftertaste, slight malty finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is spot on.
Overall, I say good for the style and good for me, Id have again if looking for an ESB in the DE area.

Bottle: Pours a hazy golden-orange with (most of) a finger of creamy tan head. Nose is light and airy; some citrus and pine. Good flavors of citrus and pine with light caramel and bready malts. Sessionable all day long.

750 mL bottle shared by/with Maryland friends, poured into a tasting glass. Fall 2012, Bottle 1377/1400. Pours a hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of Brett, funk, wine, sour fruit. Tasting notes of tart fruit, funk, Brett, yeast esters, stone fruit. Medium body with a crisp dry finish. Light to medium carbonation. Tasty and interesting, though I don’t think I could drink the whole bottle on my own in one sitting.
