Draught at Firewaters, 8/18/21. Warm-toned copper-golden, high clarity, with a rapidly-receding, white head. Biscuit and crystal malt in the nose nearly outshines the aggressively citrusy hops as lemon rind and white grapefruit mix with a touch of alcohol on the finish. Oxidized and obviously not a fast-seller, the malts are cardboardy while there is a vague hop acidity without much actual hop flavor. Certainly no juiciness or big fruitiness. But it's well-made, seemingly, with good attenuation and still a somewhat rounded mouthfeel despite the medium malts.

12 oz bottle Cloudy dark orange with a white head. Spicy nose. Well balanced and true to style with a nice banana-clove palate. Just enough sweetness and good body. I'll have another!
