We are a small, independent award-winning Brewery, Tap Room and Bottle Shop with a large beer garden with far reaching views based in the old Towcester Mill, set in the heart of Towcester in South Northamptonshire.

Established 2009 as Nomad Beers Limited. Changed name to Towcester Mill Brewery in 2014 and brought commercial brewing back to Towcester for the first time in over 100 years.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, hops, roast malt, toffee, licorice and has a nice bitter finish.

24/8/2018. Cask at the 41st Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours chestnut brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, chocolate and fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy bitter finish.

Cask gravity at the Bailiffs Tap, Banbury, Oxon, Sunday 5th March 2017 Pours dark amber with a sprinkling of bubbles. Very traditional in taste a fruity and nutty beer with light bitterness, dry finish. Not a bad beer at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask at GBBF’16, day two, 10/08/16. Light golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is citric peel, straw, toasted bread, melon whisper. Taste comprises straw, lemon rind, melon, ornage, toasted grains, soft bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough gold.

Cask at Althorp Coaching Inn. Clear golden yellow color. Aroma of lightly toasted biscuit, orange peel. Taste has a decent malt background, floral up front. Not bad.
