Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with a small cream head. The aroma has coffee and malts. In the mouth there’s a whole loaf of flavours that typify dark beers – roasted malts, treacle, liquorice, dark fruits, cola and hints of chocolate. Some bitterness in the finish. This is decent.

Draft at BeerHeadz Lincoln. Hazy deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrus crisp and slight bitter. Decent rich body.

Keg draught at Tønne, Leicester. Gold and clear with an uneven white head. Quite a bit of lacing. Floral perfumed aroma. Not getting g much of the Mosaic and Simcoe.same with the Taste, sweetly candied but not a lot of detectable hop presence. Finish is more balanced. Its okay, but it feels very different from what I'd expected.
