Cask, Clifton, Bristol. IPA ? I don’t think so. Dull as dishwater, couldn’t finish this. Flat, insipid, bland, need I go on?

Cask conditioned handpull at The Castle, Chancery Lane. Gold, beige head. Fruity blond bitter, with peach and apricot. Some earthy hop. It’s quite pleasant. The fruit isn’t really my style, but given my ambivalence to Wadworth, this isn’t bad. Still not too exciting.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Deep amber colour with a decent, off-white head. Slightly sweet aroma with a touch of grassy hops. Flavour had some fruit and caramel before a short, bitter finish. Unmemorable, but ok.
