Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of flowery hops. The flavor is sweet and fruity with a bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell, Gloucs 17/11/07. Gold with a slight white head. Pleasant grassy hop aroma with a touch of sweet malt. Flavour started sweet before the usual unpleasant Wadworths aftertaste kicked in. One was enough.

Canette 500ml (LCBO). De couleur ambrée-cuivrée et transparente. Nez malté de caramel légèrement rôti et aux notes terreuses, moyen de houblon herbeux et floral, de fumée de tabac ainsi que des notes fruitées (traces d’agrumes et de pommes), de pain, de noix et d’épices (poivre). Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement bas et une texture crémeuse et aux notes aqueuses. Léger goût fruité (notes d’agrumes sucrées et de pommes) avec un léger goût de fumée de tabac lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un moyen goût malté de caramel moyennement sucré, légèrement rôti et terreux avec des notes de pain et de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve un léger goût amer de houblon floral et légèrement herbeux (un peu sec), des notes poivrées et de noix ainsi que des traces métalliques. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, légèrement amer de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux et aux notes terreuses avec des notes de noix et de rôti ainsi que de faibles traces métalliques.

Cask-conditioned at the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell S Gloucs. Brown coloured with an moderate off-white head. Aroma of red fruit and caramel. Flavour started malty but was marred by that distinctive Wadworths aftertaste - slightly sour and metallic.

Cask @ Folly Bridge Inn, Oxford. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. Sweet malty and fruity aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Sweet malty and fruity hoppy flavor. Sweet malty and fruity finish with a dry bitter aftertaste.

Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is very nectary and woody. Flavour is very fruity, nectary, hoppy, grassy and really dry in finish.

Cask @ St Christopher’s Inn, Borough, London. Pours a dark copper color with a small white head. Malty and slightly fruity caramel aroma. Sweet malty fruity caramel flavor. Fruity malty finish with some hints of hops and caramel. Has a long malty finish.

Cask@GBBF2007. Yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is horrible grassy hops and some malts. Flavour is the same along with butteryness and some slight fruityness.
