This ale poured a dark orange colour with a foamy off white head. To the nose, caramel, bitter floral hop and a hint of ripe fruit. Taste is smooth and a little waterybut full of malty goodness. Slightly hoppy on the finish. Palate is full of caramel. Noy bad.

Cask handpull at Folkestone Wetherspoons. Gold/copper colour with lasting bubbly off white head. Farty yeasty aroma, some promise of sweetish malt. Fartier than I remember. Better in mouth. Quite rich. Moderate light fruit flavours. Drying finish.

Cask. Clear, copper-colored beer with a small white head. Aroma of bread and caramel. Bready and grainy flavor with some fruity hoppiness in the back. Lightly soapy, thin body. The finish is fruity, but almost without bitterness. (060712)

Bottle picked up at off Licence in Wareham 22-06-06. Dark Golden colour, small white head, some hops in what is a sweetish aroma, littlle bit dissapointed in the taste though, bitterness lingers a little some hops but overall fell a little short of being a decent bitter.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoon’s Folkestone. Like others I found this as 3.5% during their festival. Amber colour, slight haze with creamy head. I was expecting a lager or cask conditioned lager, but this is neither although is was stuck through a chiller of some kind. Aromatic hop aroma, which is attractive, malty (even some choc) but wet in mouth, with more aromatic hop bite on finish. Some pear drop fruit. I like it. Clean, refreshing and excellent use of hops
