Tap. Pours clear golden, medium creamy white head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is honey, biscuit, grass. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, a bit sharp, rye bite. Medium light body, creamy. Interesting.

Draught at Three Penny Taproom, 3/15/14
Slightly chill-hazed golden amber body is topped by a large off-white head that shows modest retention.
Big pine-mango nose is certainly assertive and backed by bready malts. More fruitiness emerges and it melds pretty well with the malts, though the dry, bready malts and the huge alpha acid presence definitely challenge the senses.
Very dry in the mouth, much moreso than I had expected, leaving the bready-like malts quite bare and exposing sourdough-like notes that only exacerbate the heavy hop acid assault. It’s not unrelenting, and to its credit, with all the bitterness comes plenty of lush, juicy simcoe flavor, but I’m just left wanting a touch more malt sweetness or softness to balance. Clean and the alcohol is well-concealed. No wateriness with engaging carbonation.

Draft from the source. Orange copper type color, thin head. Aroma is a solid amount of citrus hops and some ale yeast. Dry hopped citrus. The hops are integrated well in the brew, bright citrus/ tropical fruit flavors. Light amounts of pine resin in the backend.

The brew is balanced pretty well with enough biscuit / pale malts. Bitterness lingers for a good amount after the sip. Overall this brewery does IPA’s well. This is a nice brew without question. However I prefer their Conehead much more. Still a nice show.

Draft @ Zero Gravity. Black color with little retention. Nose is a blend of chocolate malt and pine with some hints of fruit. Flavor is interesting. Lots of different hop nuances. Fruit, pine and light grassyness with a soild amount of chocolate malts. Nice balance of dark malt and plentiful hop addition. Low bitterness. Well crafted

From the source. Hazy gold, lasting head retention. Nose is packs with citra, fruit, pine and grass. Citra is a beautiful hop variety. Flavor is wheat with the awesome mixture of grassy, fruity and lightly piney hop. I can crush this beer with ease, any lover of cirta hop should order this. Love it!!

From the source. Dark ruby color, thick lasting head. I love long lasting head....... Nose is traces of fruit. Flavor shows hints of candy sugar, molasses, Belgain yeast and a hint of candy sugar in the back end. The hops do show up in the finish, helps with balance. Ok.

On tap at Positive Pie - Montpelier, VT. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, white foam head. Good stuff. Plenty of pale bread, light crispy cereal, orange, light bitter pine needles. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Low hoppy resins to finish with further crispy pale bread, citrus fruits such as lemon and orange. Highly drinkable.
